Why Fresh And Simple Is Always Best

We live in a world of fast and easy solutions to every day tasks. While this can be a blessing for those of us who work long days, have kids, and plenty of activities during the evenings and weekends, there are some downsides as well. A big one is the prominence of fast, frozen, and foul foods that are bad for the body, but easy on time.

But if you are looking for something quick to prepare for dinner, or even something to make tot ake along with you or your kids for lunch, fresh is always best. All it takes is a little ingenuity, and you can have an easy, healthy alternative to greasy drive-through to enjoy.

One easy idea is to make fajitas. All you need are a few colorful bell peppers, an onion, a little canola oil (or non-stick spray), and some chicken, steak, or pork. Cut the meat and veggies into pieces, spirce the meat with a dry rub, and cook it through.

Then add the veggies and more spices, and leave to sit until cooked to your preference. Add it to tortillas with grated cheese, and maybe some salsa or guacamole. It takes about 15 minutes in all, and it’s healthy!
